Little Lagoon Pass is along the west end of Highway 182 in Gulf Shores, AL. The Pass is on the Alabama Coastal Birding Trail and at low tide the birding is supposed to be especially good. On this particular afternoon there were several pelicans all perched on a pipe that runs parallel to the bridge over the pass. I couldn't get a good vantage point anywhere else except on the bridge. All the people who drove close beside me were all looking to see what I was photographing. Pelicans are different birds! :)
