Weeks Bay Pitcher Plant Bog and Foley, AL are the settings for these photographs. The bog is a very interesting nature preserve located just east of Weeks Bay off U.S. Highway 98. There is a board walk over the bog that meanders through the pitcher plants and wild flowers of all kinds and on out to the bay. Spring through fall are prime times to see the pitcher plants. Also featured in this album are many shots taken along the walking path in downtown Foley, AL. The city does a fabulous job landscaping and maintaining the public parks and paths. A gorgeous rose garden is in bloom most of the year. I can count on good shots just about any time!
